Our lifes journey is a good way to view it. whilst the Minor Arcana represents the more mundane events. Generally, it can be thought of as inescapeable events being represented by the Major Arcana and those aspects that can be changed or altered being represented by the cards of the Minor Arcana.

The actual interpretation of the individual cards depends on the deck and the reader. This does seem to be a case of all roads leading to Rome though, as despite the different approaches, mostly the results will be similar.

The Major Arcana ranges from the Fool card through to the World card the other cards will appear in a different order acording to the life of the querent - the individual whose reading is taking place.

The Minor Arcana contains a variety of symbolic references. There are wands indicating creativity, swords relate to intelligence, cups intuition, pentacles physical health and so on.

It takes a great deal of application to learn Tarot Card Reading and interpretation and it doesn't cost a fortune to obtain a Tarot reading from an expert, which is the route most people take.
